Coronavirus: Impact on Private Jet Flights

We look at the operational impact of COVID-19

Coronavirus Private Jet

UPDATED 01 April
With the outbreak of COVID-19 (also known as Coronavirus), there may be certain restrictions on travelling by air.

AlbaJet has seen a large surge in requests for charter flights - especially tied to airline cancellations. Availability of charter aircraft is at this time still very good.

Are private jets affected by coronavirus?

Disruption to private jet flights is currently minimal. Numerous measures are being taken by private jet operators to mitigate the risk of contagion including disinfecting the passenger cabins and cockpits between flights.

What are the benefits of travelling by private jet?

Choosing a private jet charter instead of flying by commercial flight has numerous advantages:

  • Use of a private jet terminal rather than the main terminal.
  • Aircraft are disinfected between flights.
  • Not sharing a cabin with other members of the public.
  • Avoid airline flight cancellations and possible bankruptcies.
